Holy Spirit Infants currently hosts two satellite classes for the Aspect Hunter School which specialises in educating children with autism.
Aspect classes are conveniently located on our school grounds which assists children enrolled in Aspect, to enjoy the facilities of Holy Spirit Infants School.
The aim of the satellite program is to provide specialised support services and facilities to help students with autism develop the skills to become as independent as possible so that they may eventually integrate into a mainstream classroom either at Holy Spirit K-2 or elsewhere.
Holy Spirit enjoys a close working relationship with Aspect staff and students. Aspect teachers are a valuable resource for our classroom teachers, allowing us as a whole school to become more skilled in areas of teaching students with special needs.
