The canteen is an important asset to our school and is open on Friday. We are part of the Live Life Well program that promotes healthy eating and good nutrition in schools.
To order food from the canteen, students must send their order in their reusable lunch bag with their name, class and order. We are currently moving to reduce our waste footprint and in 2022, we will be using QKR a cashless online ordering system. You will be able to view the canteen menu on QKR.
The canteen is open for lunch and volunteers are needed from 9.00am – 11.45am to prepare lunches and sell items such as ice blocks and healthy snacks. A committee of volunteers assists with the running of the canteen.
Volunteers for canteen duty are always needed and greatly appreciated. Every volunteer is required to have a current Working With Children Check. We always need more helpers and it is a great way to meet other parents and learn more about your school. The children love it when mum, dad, grandma or grandpa is working in the canteen.
Please note that no babies or toddlers may be in the canteen for safety reasons.
A canteen price list will be sent home at the beginning of each year.
